Rev Dr Steve Bevis: Team Leader - Minister of the Word
Steve has been recently inducted as Team Leader at Burwood-Croydon Uniting Church. Steve has a long history of Christian ministry and leadership both on the ground in Australia and in international development. He and his wife, Miriam, have been on a long journey of learning from and with First Peoples, a path which took them to Alice Springs for six years to live and work beside the community in that iconic part of Australia.
Steve is an accomplished songwriter and musician and has a gift for leading people gathered in worship or community - whether in a building, or under the stars, and around a campfire.
Steve is also the Chair of the Board of UnitingWorld and a Director of the Alice Springs Meeting Place Foundation, an NGO he co-founded that seeks to meet need in Central Australia by encouraging better ways of meeting and living together.
Steve and Miriam have four children and four grandchildren, as well as one funny little Cavoodle named Dusty.

Lachlan Blackwood: Worship Leader
Lachlan works with the Burwood Evening Congregation, coordinating music and liturgy.
Lachlan has been leading worship in churches ever since he was a teenager. He holds a Master's degree in Music Composition, has written the score for a number of award winning films, and plays a variety of instruments with local bands.
Outside of work and family time you can usually find him composing in his studio, reading in his chair, or watching the NHL on his couch.
Lachlan is married to Liz and they are parents to three young children.
Hithaiyishi Parndigamage: Property Officer and Outreach Support
